Galloway Road Traffic Calming Petition

A serious injury occurred on Galloway Road in December due to excessive speed. Right now, the speed limit is 50 KPH. Thanks to all the members and neighbours who signed the petition (114 signatures).
The petition is addressed to the mayor and city council and the request is for speed bumps on Galloway Road as well as a speed limit of 30 KPH. Our local councillor, Mr Paul Ainslie met with our Co-op Manager, as well as with Wanda who had been injured in a Galloway Road accident. The petition was handed over to Mr Ainslie during this meeting at the Scarborough Civic Centre on March 25, 2012.
